Kotban Oil & Gas Company. (KOG) is a Libyan EPC oil & gas contractor and its affiliate Poineer Kotban General Contracting Company (PIKO) were formed through a spinout of assets from Sunshine ,Timco and United trading companies in 2006. Originally a trading company, Kotban converted to a corporate structure in May 2006. with its activities concentrated in the Libyan territories and its collateral assets/equipment geographically and strategically positioned in the eastern and western regions of the country as well as in the capital ,Tripoli and in key locations along the Libyan coast.
Building anything in the oil and gas industry is an extremely difficult proposition that takes a great deal of commitment and even more expertise.
Just the mere thought of the amount of planning it must take to undertake an Oil & Gas EPC project from its conception to final delivery ,
conduct a feasibility study, carry out the front end engineering, design and then actually build ,construct a LNG train, petrochemicals complex
